Liner to Hull Bonding Failure This is an interesting case ...... I was called to see if I could determine why the doors on a one year old sailboat would not line up and close after a wednesday night race. I won't go in to to much detail as the reports below speak for themselves. There are two reports - The first is my in water inspection which caused a suspicion of something serious leading to the second report which is quite damning of the manufacturer. There were many other steps and a couple of other reports in between including a very interesting experience trying to support her on eight jackstands but these two tell the story. Keep in mind that I was hired not for a full survey but merely to determine why the cabin doors would not close after a Wednesday night club race. |
